"AP has always been very gender affirming and extremely understanding regarding my care. I've had them as my primary provider on and off for a few years and they've always been wonderful. Emily Browand is extremely thorough and has been great at listening to my needs. I have regular follow up appointments for any changes made to my medication, both for HRT and my antidepressants. Wait times tend to be fairly low and I can typically get in within 2 weeks if I need to schedule an appointment immediately."

"I primarily see Dr. Browand here and she's been great; she really listens to all my concerns and does the best she can to address each one of them individually. The labwork reviews are super in-depth so I really understand what all the numbers mean in the tests they run for me. I've always felt affirmed with Dr. Browand, it seems like it's a very normal thing for her to be dealing with me as a trans patient, which I appreciate :)"

"I’ve been seeing Emily since the beginning of the year and she has been one of the biggest support systems since I started medically transitioning. The staff at AP Medical has never deadnamed/misgendered me in my time going there, they’ve always been so kind and helpful (and quick to reply when I need help with prescriptions and pharmacies and such which is amazing). I was able to get an an initial appointment in about two weeks and have gotten regularly scheduled with no issues every month. Emily always seems to remember what’s going on with me and my check ups feel like I’m just catching up with a friend, shes helped provide me with tons of local resources and connected me with my top surgeon. Not to mention that she does an insane amount of work for the community outside of the clinic as well. My treatment at AP has always gone above and beyond and I can’t be more grateful for their help this year. "

Dr. Orna Fisher

"Dr. Fisher was truly a joy to work with. I had my top surgery with no nipple grafts done with her and I am extremely satisfied with my results. My post-op care was thorough and Dr. Fisher was kind enough to give me her personal phone number in case any emergencies came up in the weeks following my procedure. Her and her staff were all amazing, very professional and friendly, and they made me feel very comfortable and safe. Only thing is, they don't take insurance - but if you can afford her, she is a fantastic local surgeon."

"I was able to get an appointment with VPSI within two weeks of getting a referral. Once I submitted my insurance, ID, and letter from a mental health professional, it took a little under two weeks to hear back from the scheduler. My surgery date was 12 days later. Dr. John Brosious has provided great care everytime we’ve spoken— he’s very respectful and kind, happy to answer any questions, open minded and just wants to help people. He’s very knowledgeable about his work and eased all of my surgery anxieties. His office has been easy to reach while I’ve been in post op recovery. My only note of criticism was that they didn’t provide a ton of after care instructions (most of my prep was done online), but Im currently preparing a top surgery recovery resource that I will be sending to different offices in town so hopefully they will be able to provide it for the next person. "

Important update! I've recently found out that the Huntridge Clinic has closed for an indefinite amount of time. I don't know specifics of the circumstance but their website states "On April 7, 2023, we had to make the very difficult decision to change how we deliver care and that forced us to close our physical location". For more info, please visit their homepage. In the meantime, I have archived their reviews and removed them from the map. Once they are back open, I will repost all reviews and replace them on the map.
